The desk is the ideal height, and the curved back of the chairs with ease cradles my again when sitting. The stylish shape seems beautiful without overwhelming the gap and is compact sufficient to match in a small apartment. The wooden is a rich brown-red and the metal legs appear to be black powder-coated. One grievance is that I wish the chair legs had a rubber or plastic foot to steer clear of scratching my wood ground when they're moved.
